'small groups vol. 1' is a taster of some of our holding hands subscription activity on Bandcamp.

Through the ongoing subscription, we are experimenting and exploring with small groups picked from this octet, extemporising on fragments from holding hands pieces, which are uploaded for subscribers alongside live tracks and other recordings.

This EP features some out-takes from this activity, and in this instance take the form of duos performed by trumpeter Chris Dowding, saxophonist Rob Milne (co-leaders of the octet) and saxophonist Dee Byrne. Take a dip into the exploratory waters of holding hands..!
